Introduction

To strengthen the synergy between employees in a vital way, Just Eat Takeaway.com brought the various work locations together in one new office. Ahrend was responsible for the design of this working environment, while the Circular Hub played a pivotal role, with a clear focus on circularity, ergonomics and alignment with the identity and corporate identity of Just Eat Takeaway.com.

Based on the interior design, the zoning and the brand book, the project was created wholly with reused and circular furniture.

First

Circularity was an essential starting point for the design. For example, monitor arms from JET's British offices were given a second life in Enschede. In addition, workstations were deployed from other European JET offices.

Second

A vital working environment goes beyond dynamic workplaces and a carefully designed interior. The restaurant and the coffee counter also play an important role in the well-being of employees.

Together with the wide variety of work and meeting places, an environment is created that moves with the rhythm of the working day. The type of work and the purpose of a meeting determine where employees sit or work (together) while standing.
